ris rubber
When I started this project, I was familiar with some properties of rubber, and I eventually transformed all of these properties into a dynamic way to tell the story of RIS, only mentioning the term ‘rubber’ at the very end of the animation.
The ball
The story simply started with a ball, a basic shape that would represent both rubber and the company RIS.
Throughout the process, the ball would be able to take on different forms, to show the properties of the company RIS and the material rubber itself, making it a coherent definition, represented in a single element.
graphic elements
Incorporating subtly designed graphics allowed to show more than just ellipses and other geometrical shapes, while still remaining true to the visual style.
onetaker
I eventually decided to make the animation look and feel like one continuous take, something that improved the overall flow of the animation.
